I'm looking for a relationship, but not necessarily one that will lead to marriage. Is that ok?
Edit: a better title for this might have been: I'm looking for a relationship, but not necessarily someone to spend the rest of my life with. Is that ok?
I'm 30 but got a late start in the dating world. Didn't loose my virginity until 27, had 2 shorter relationships since then, both lasting about 6 months. I've been on the apps for a few years now and have had several 2-5 date "flings" or whatever.
I'm dating someone now, I like her, things are going well and I can tell she is falling for me. We've been dating for about 3 months, maybe 10 or 12 dates.
After a few dates I told her I was looking for a relationship, at the time I was, and I think I still am. But I'm realizing I may not be looking for something that would lead to marriage. I'm still not sure if I want kids, I know she does but isn't in a huge rush (but I do think she wants them before I do). And to be honest, I just think I want to have a few relationships before I really "settle down".
Do I talk about this with her? I'm not really sure how to tell her. I like her a lot, but not sure she is "the one". Should I just let the relationship take its course for longer?
