2010 GTI Worth It?

Hey everyone, I wanted to hear your thoughts on this GTI. I am unsure as to whether a 2010 GTI at 200k+ km is a good purchase.

I am a young university student looking for a car for myself and a newer driver to daily. Willing to spend up to $7k CAD. Want something that is relatively easy to work on, easy to maintain, fun to drive. Obviously, I want a miata but since this car will be shared, it will not suffice. Since this car will be an addition to our family SUV and will be used mostly for shorter commutes, practicality is not of the utmost importance.
