Can I mod my xbox for rdr2 story mode?

Recently i’ve been wanting to mod rdr2 story mode on my xbox one. Nothing big just like reformed john and some unobtainable outfits. However i’m afraid that my xbox account might be banned. I’d appreciate if someone can clarify if i can mod my rdr2 game without being banned and if so how i should go about doing it.
