Hiring an attorney for separation agreement?

My SO visited an attorney today and they will be starting the process to get the documents together. She’s asking for split equity in house (for value increase) and is generally asking for fair split down the middle. I’m generally agreeable to the terms we discussed. From past experience, would any of you recommend hiring an attorney to review the documents? Just afraid of potential sneaky verbage that could bite me. Regardless, this hurts so much and I hate thinking about this and am praying for reconciliation
