Kind of want to cut off my family at this point

Going to try to keep this as short as possible. So my family has always been pretty conservative (even more so the last few years) and I have always kind of been the black sheep in that regard. Now, I'm not exactly ultra liberal or anything, but someone would think I am when compared to them.

Never been much of a social media person but I just made a twitter account earlier to try and register for something and after I did, somehow my brother's profile popped up on the side in the "who to follow" section. Out of sheer curiosity, I checked his profile and while he didn't post much, he would occasionally retweet conservative talking heads, which was no surprise since he's always been the most vocal about this kind of stuff....or so I thought.

I went to his "followers" section to see if my dad had a profile and to my utter shock, he did. My dad, to my knowledge, has never had any kind of social media so this was a bit of a surprise and I was kind of left speechless when I looked at his profile. It was only made last November but it is filled with constant tweets (on a daily basis) of some of the most right wing shit I have ever seen. Like, stuff that is bordering on being a caricature of a ring wing conservative. Constantly talking about how any and all liberal democrats are lying pieces of shit, any and all democrats are socialist communist pieces of shit (those in particular made my eyes roll) retweeting politicians and talking heads and telling them they are stupid and lying pieces of shit. Every single tweet was along these lines. Literally all of them.

Now, I always kind of knew my dad leaned a little to the right, but I never would have thought I would see this kind of stuff from him. I don't know what rabbit hole of propaganda he has gone down over the years (though I have an idea based off the buzz words he would constantly use and the outlets he would retweet) but it was honestly shocking. He has literally never acted this way around me, probably because he knows I would call him on his bullshit. Butt based on the absolute hate filled tweets he post, he clearly has zero respect for me since he knows I don't align with the things he says in private.
