True Crime is overhyped
True Crime is interesting. Analyzing crime in our society is interesting. But it's just so overhyped at this point. Somebody really thought: "You know what we should do. We should take crimes that happened to people, turn them into a genre, make movies, books, out of this crime, and just make it a phenomenon."
Like why? I understand doing some research and compiling a case into a documentary or something for people to understand what happened. But it's just annoying when you make a tv series or a movie out of it. It's actually pretty sad to see that our lives are so boring that whenever there is the SLIGHTEST bit of chaos (good or bad) it needs to become a movie or a book or a tv show. Like can we just not?
