Mesh WiFi on ps4

So I just got mesh WiFi and was connecting all my devices and when I connected my ps4 it was only at 8.9 Mbps where my phone is at 58 so I’m wondering if I missed a step or have to do something differently cause my old WiFi was still much better I’m not techie but I’m a quick learner so can someone please help.
