Sims 3 Store content problems

Hi guys,

I’m having an ongoing issue with my sims 3 store content. Whenever I open the launcher my store content is in the downloads section instead of installed and it also has a cardboard box icon next to all of the content. I try to install them back into my game and there is always an error telling me i need to update my game. I have basically tried everything and nothing is working permanently, only for one gaming session until I turn off my computer. What could possibly be the issue?

It’s annoying because the store content is paid for and the fact I am unable to use it is frustrating. Please someone help! 😣
