Very Interesting News about Gas and Electricity

I am property owner and after dealing with tenant non payments for the last 8 months I am now paying for their electric bill as well. This is not a rant about rents but it is about a very interesting call I had with the local utility company. It seems that this month has been an extremely crazy month with service disconnects, since it is summer in the Midwest they can disconnect at any time for non payment. If people are unable to pay for basic needs such as rent and electricity and cooking fuel what does that say about where we are headed? Again the rep from the utility company said this month has been much higher with disconnects for non payment than it has been recently. What is actually going to happen when the mortgage and rent mortarium is lifted?

TL;DR

Local utility company is seeing an increase of disconnects for non-payment, much worse shit is probably on the horizon!!!
