Starting Soviets

So a local game store was having a sale and I impulse bought a few Soviets. I picked up:

Rubicon SU-85/Su-122 kit
Rubicon T-34/85 Mid and Late war
NKVD Box
Mortar and flame thrower
Siberian Veterans Box
Stalingrad book

Is this enough for a small starting force for someone new to the game? Any advice on how I should build things?
