Law and Order: SVU has jumped the shark

My husband and I have watched pretty much every SVU episode, but in the last season or two most of the episodes have been forgettable/downright boring. For example, I was excited to see Barba return, but the episode was a complete disappointment. Also, what's with the music lately? There are times during newer episodes when the "background" music is so badly mixed, it might as well be Distracting Trumpet.

Also, the new Law and Order: Organized Crime is unwatchable. I barely made it through the pilot episode, but figured that maybe I didn't like it because it was so expository. Nope. Didn't even make it 15 minutes into the second episode before I gave up.
