Relatable Characters

As a female istp, I have a tendency to relate to characters who are more closed off and have trouble with their anger. Usually these characters overcome their problems with the help of a sole friend. They feel as if everyone is against them and often want to punch someone. For example, Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice and Trent Zimmerman from my favorite book, Lost in the Sun by Lisa Graff. I was wondering if you guys connect with similar charcters.
