I'm extremely proud to know people in our state would run at and attack an active shooter in an act of selflessness to save others.
Even though an active shooter was using an assault rifle shooting 30 holes just above the head of our family friend, no one was shot and no one was injured other than the shooter himself. This was because unarmed people in that area rushed that shooter and beat him to the point he needed to be hospitalized. I can't tell you how proud I am of these people. Yeah, they could have lost their lives, and sure people will say you should not do this. Even more proof of just how selfless these people were in the moment of battle. True warriors, I will see you in Valhalla brothers. These are my people. I'm so proud of them.
Just in case you are wondering what I'm rambling about https://pamplinmedia.com/scc/103-news/513739-410800-neighbors-capture-gunman-who-fired-29-shots-into-housing-complex
I will say the report is not the best but not many have covered this store, I only know about this because a close friend of our family's son was involved. He is a very kind and gentle person and almost lost his life sitting in his own bed because a dog was barking.
