Pine forest maintenance?
Recently moved and our house is mostly surrounded by pine forest. Maybe 4-5 acres is woods. We're in the mountains in western North Carolina. I'm curious what I should be doing as far as 'maintenance'.
I have been considering getting a chipper to mulch up all the fallen limbs. In some places it's difficult to even walk around. Only thing I've really done so far is cutting down some of the vines - have Virginia Creeper and a few others I haven't identified yet...
