Water recycling the grey water? Anyone dared to try?

Question

So I had an idea. Grey water tank - sump pump - sand filter - pressurization pump - sediment filter - carbon filter - daisy chained reverse osmosis membranes - uv light - water storage tank. The waste water from the second reverse osmosis membrane would go into a black water tank.

You would use all the standard sized filters they have on Amazon for undersink water filters. And Dow name brand reverse osmosis membranes. Like 500 bucks of various parts max.

On paper the recycled water would now be mostly clean. You would have a second reverse osmosis filter on the recycled water for actually drinking.

This would in theory recycle 75 percent of your water, where each RO filter rejects half the water as waste.

It would have to run for hours to recycle the water from one decent shower - the Dow filters are listed as 25 gallons so you make about 1 gallon per hour back.

In theory you can pee in the shower and it should work...
