Finally ready to shop for progressives w/prism. What should I ask the optician?

While some of the opticians in my area are still appointment only, I’ve decided that I can’t wait any longer. So I’m looking for a pair of glasses suitable for driving with the following prescription:

OD: pl, Add 2.5, Base out 2.5 OS: -1.25, Add 2.5, Base out 2.5

No cylinder in either, though these will be worn on top of a single contact lenses in my left eye with a prescription of -1.75, cylinder -0.75, axis 050.

I have a pair of Transitions XTRActive with a similar prescription and decided they’re not dark enough. So I’m leaning towards a pair with magnetic sunglasses on top, but I’m open to suggestions. I don’t know if there are specific brands that specialize in clip-on that attach magnetically versus actual clips. I’m really not interested in high fashion frames, and I’m targeting a longevity of five years for these, so I don’t need them to last forever. I do want them to work for driving as well as other routine activities, though not necessarily theaters or working on the computer or tablet at home.

Since I may need appointments but expect to shop around, I’d like to be able to ask any questions at my first visit. So what questions or concerns should I start out with?
