Which Accord model should I go with.

I live in Ontario, Canada. I just got my license and planning to buy my first car. I have decided that I would like to go with Honda Accord but just can't choose which one would be better than the other. Should I go with somewhere around 2010 model or the newer models. If the car is below or around $6000, I can pay it right away but if it is one of the newer model then my budget is $25000 at max as I'll have to get it financed. I'll use the car mostly for going to job on weekdays and for skip on weekends. Help me decide please.
