What are the odds of an advanced civilization emerging from the black depths of space and destroying us all one day?

Was reading the creepypasta “Radio Silence” which basically answers the Fermi Paradox by stating there is some advanced civilization out there with the nightmarish intent of wiping out all other civilizations. This shit is terrifying, probably less like “Independence Day” and more like Lovecraft or the aliens from that book, All Tomorrows.

What do you think are the odds of something like that happening one day?
