Nothing is made to last

I didn’t know where to post this but this seemed like the best place for it. Has anyone noticed that nowadays it seems like nothing is made to last? Like almost everything is made as cheaply and with as little regard to the consumer as possible. Almost everything has glaring problems with it and we have to put up with it because the bar has been set so low almost across the board and with so many things that we all pretty much just have to deal with it. When I spend my hard earned pay I expect it to work as advertised and it makes me feel like I got scammed when it doesn’t.
