I just got the 1more triple driver in-ear headphones. Did I make a mistake?

I read plenty of good reviews for them. (soundguys.com, on which I also read the review for the beyerdynamics soul Byrd, which I purchased, liked, but lost). I also needed earbuds with an in line remote.

I should have read more reviews before purchasing, because many of the negative reviews cite poor durability. But I also see a lot of good reviews. Also, I tried them, and they are very bass heavy. I have to massively adjust the equalizer to get them to sound normal. They are somewhat lacking in highs.

They came in very fancy packaging, which is a red flag, because they spent more money on hype than the product. It seems designed to appeal to reviewers.

I've heard people on this subreddit say they hate them, but also a few say they like them.

Should I return them? I paid $62 for them on Amazon. What would you recommend in its place? It needs to be 3.5mm, fully wired, and have an inline remote with volume control. A replaceable cable is a bonus.
