Super console pro x problems

2 problems I'm having with the pro x you controller (Xbox afterglow controller) was working then I went into some menu from the main screen now it works in the menu, but when I go into a game is saying controller not configure, which is set up in the menu when you input controller and buttons. Then what I tried to fix that I did something else restart the box for some reason can't remember why and now when it starts up at loads all the systems explode the little UI and then keeps restarting.
