Does anyone else wished we weren't forced to subscribe?

I really wish I could play games I enjoy instead of WoW.

It just sucks that I'm forced to spend $15 a month on this and not actually enjoy or have fun with the game. How do you guys deal with the fact that we are forced to pay for a game, engage with the game in online communities, and think about a game—even when we don't want to?
