MCC online help (skipping/glitching?)

Recently bought a 1080p 144hz monitor that runs 120fps just fine on my series s. When I play MCC though, once in a blue moon (usually in halo 3, CE, or sometimes 4), I’ll see other players “skip” through the air and jump forward few frames. Please tell me this is a connection issue or update bug. It’s not that bad. But I hope it isn’t my monitor. It doesn’t seem to be the case, but I wanna check. If anyone has advice pls help
