Got Disconnected.. lost items.

So, I just completed my first t-11 expedition solo, got 2 legendaries. About 5 seconds after loading back into camp I got Disconnected. Upon loading back in I lost all the items I received from that expedition. So pissed. I did about 8 t10 runs with no legendaries, then did the T-11. Was so excited to see the 2 oranges. Does this happen often?
