PVE firefight challenges bugged?

Just did a Reach matchmade firefight game where I got more than 50+ kills and we finished the game, killed a bunch of light infantry, with UNSC weapons, yet no progress on any of these challenges?

I haven't really tried MCC much after challenges so is it bugged or something else is going on?
