Should I choose the installment plan?

I'm an incoming transfer and I'm waiting on my calgrant to be processed along with a private scholarship which will cover beyond my tuition, however, they will not be dispersed until July/August. Should I opt into the installment plan to pay the initial basic tuition (a couple strings attached/contracts which concerns me) or should I try and pay it in whole (not as feasible), and wait for a reimbursement. I'm really confused on the timeline of tuition payment and I didn't have adequate time to ask the office since I just heard about the July 1at deadline recently. If anyone has any insight or experience with this please help ASAP!!
