A Quick Word of Caution re: "Entitlement"

Seen a few comments using this kind of language, so thought I'd toss something out.

I 100% agree that people calling out Dream for not streaming during June are a bit much considering how much happened and there is likely plenty of stuff happening behind the scenes that went into this. Additionally, he did raise over $140,000 which is really just... a staggering number.

THAT BEING SAID.

I'd like to caution against rhetoric that goes along the lines of, "we should be grateful," or, "stans are so entitled." That kind of language is often used to shut down minority voices regarding equal treatment, suggesting that certain issues or allowances are privileges rather than human rights. I don't think that anyone is seriously suggesting that any minorities who are speaking up are lesser, but it's good to check the language and logic that's being used to discuss the issue.

tl;dr—there may certainly be an overblown reaction to Dream's so-called "damage control" or lack of streaming in June, but let's not fall back on age-old racist and dehumanizing language in our discussions regarding it.
