Things to do in Oaxaca as a 19 year old? Punk scene?

Hello! I'm going to Oaxaca with my family next week, and I'm wondering what are some places I can go to or things I can do to have fun while I'm there :). What are some places teens/young adults hang out, stuff to do at night, etc?

Also, what is the punk scene like? Are there any regulars shows or stores I can go to?

I've got a solid (but really basic) understating of Spanish, so language barrier isn't a huge problem.
