Solenoid for a Crash/Panic Bar
Anyone have a product they like to use? I'm trying to get a solenoid that will pull with enough force to pull a Crash bar in and open the latch.

You need a QEL
They are usually specific to the bar. Take a look at the retrofit kits from SDC, they have motorized ones that work off a normal lock power supply, you don’t need the high inrush ones
This is what I'm trying to replace: https://postimg.cc/jCKj9CvJ
Adams rite bar?
I think this will work or you can just get another solenoid kit since you have the big power supply

I'm not sure what kind of bar. It has latches at the top and bottom of the door that the crash bar releases. The current solenoid is not strong enough to pull the bar all the way in which is why I'm trying to find something to replace it with. I paid a locksmith to do it and he blamed the power supply, but its not the power supply, I have tested it.
It could be the power supply, what is it rated at? When those solenoids first pull in the pull about 30 amps. It’s for less than a second but a normal lock power supply can’t handle that. There are modules you can put in that are basically large capacitors to help mitigate that. The SDC option I linked can be fed from a normal power supply
