We still need more evidence, Hard rock solid evidence, Belos's technology and plans to open the human realm is not really proof to being a human, If Belos was the human then why would he wright a book about the portal and just leave it in the library? And couldn't he just kept the book and make his own portal? And more so The portal was clearly buried by someone in a hurry so The human probably built the portal and someone wanted it which would be Belos since He's obsessed with it.

Yeah, Since most of the reveal will happen in the library, I'm so hype actually and I really can't wait for the Hunting Palisman episodes I hope to see more of good ol Bat Queen.

The human Gwen mentioned was from her great grandmothers time. Unless Belos was in in stasis, time traveled, or artificially prolonged his life. It probably wasn't him.

If my theory about him being a human turned lich is on point, then that would definitely explain the time gap. He disappeared to make his transition. And the palisman bile keeps him alive to this day.
If he was a lich, his lifespan would be indefinite. And he definitely checks each and every box of qualifying as that particular cryptid. It would also explain why he refers to "Luz" as a human in such a bitter tone - he hates what she is, who is what he strived so hard to become different than. But she's thriving in her human self, when he couldn't.

No, no, youre right. I just got excited about edas mom mentioning a male human. Also i think he was trying to gain power so he could find a way to make a portal so he became emperor to get access to that.
