Has anyone here had any experience on getting Mod Organizer 2 to work? Specifically with Ubuntu

I've been trying to follow this guide: https://github.com/rockerbacon/lutris-skyrimse-installers though no matter what I do I can't seem to get it to work. Not sure if I'm missing something or not, or maybe if I did some wrong and just don't know it. Currently I'm using Proton 5.0, Lutris 0.5.8.3, and the Wine version I'm using is Lutris-5.7-11. If anyone knows what I may be doing wrong, or has any advice, please help. Been trying to get this to work for a few days now.
