I’ve currently got a rule set for my own sanity. If I have one game where I’m even remotely frustrated/annoyed, I finish the match and go do something else. I’m amazed at how little I’ve been playing lately, but I boosted the Georgia campaign so I’ve not really got a need to play a lot outside of a couple dailies
Legit yesterday I've gotten continuous bad teammates.
So I just played AI for the rest of the night.
The pain is real when you hear, it depends upon you!
You look at the bar and realize you are now in a 7 vs 1 game :-D
Got so close to my 3rd solo warrior yesterday. 4 ships left. Killed 2. then my Dunkerque decided not to dev strike a Dallas in the 3 salvoes I sent at 7km (broadside) so I couldn’t focus on the normandie. :( so close. Lost on time
When I have a really bad streak of games I usually go for a quick win in AI.
Good for the soul :-)
Here's a secret WG don't want you to know, you can make credits in in tier VII AI...
The trick? 200k+ damage, 5 kills, epic credit booster, premium.
Completely reasonable, don't know what you're on about, everyone on a team can definitely pull this feat off between nine ships.
Warning : Sarcasm
Two games is a little premature to get upset over imo. Unless maybe they were wins that turned into losses or some bad play etc. I generally get frustrated after multiple losses maybe like 3-4. At that point I'm taking a break
I just close Legends, question Humanity and my Will to Live and then play another Game (like Genshin Impact, Fall Guys, NieR: Automata or any Battlefield).
I was playing NieR: Replicant, the other day actually.
The Music in those Games is probably my favorite part!
Of course I'm raging in front of my console and would like to slam my controller into my TV, but for most of the time, if I really lose a lot game in a row (what happens very rarely), I just turn off the game, do something else, or play another game and get back to Legends later (hours or next day).
Most of the time, even if nobody would admit it, you know by yourself, that you have also lost, because you fucked up yourself at some point. Of course there are these special games, where you are in T5, sitting on 200k+ damage and 6 sunken enemy ships, fighting off a flank almost alone against over the half of the enemy team and you ask yourself, how the hell 6 ships from your team could f*ck up and lose the other side against just 2 ships and that throws the game for you. But that's not the typical game. Of course, THAT is the game you will remember later on... ;)
SO TRUE, and then you will have people take a picture of that poor guy at the back as he was kitting away and shooting saying "look at this potato at the back"
Ok
If I lose a game knowing I could've done something different then learn from it. If someone on the red team was just that good then cool. But I will remember that name and next time they better have a full division.
stopped playing

Usually just hop off for a while. It aggravates me when no matter what, I can't seem to get in the groove, so no point hanging around getting even more bummed out. Tbh, I can usually tell after the first two matches what kind of a day it's going to be, and more often than not I'm correct.
Unfortunately much of this game - MM and mechanics like dispersion in particular - are complete luck of the draw. No matter how annoyed you get at the BS, it won't change. Best just to leave and go do something else for a bit :).
P.S I'm seeing more of these posts, and experiencing it a lot recently lol. Find myself having breaks from the game for a few days way more frequently. Guess it's just the state of the game at the moment for many people.
Depends on the games... Sometimes I am absolutely furious and I want to send off a sharply worded note to a team mate... Then I remember that it is most likely some kid who is playing on their parent's or older siblings account... Other times in a loss I would be really pleased with how well myself and the team did and it just wasn't our moment. There are other times to where I just go balls out and throw out all conventional think about playing my ship in way it is meant to be played and I either get blown out of the water or I give my team an advantage to exploit... Either way I end up laughing my ass off and hop in another boat and continue playing
It depends. I usually play through but tonight i got clapped hard in 3 games by blind firing BBs in my Edinbugh and decided to turn the game off. Sometimes luck isn't with you and the frustration can lead to bad plays.
I don’t play as much as I used to, but I just don’t have much interest in the game anymore when the inevitable EU destroyers come into the game
Honestly for me, I hate to lose, but it really doesn't ever get me raging if we lose. What annoys me a lot more is specific plays / lack of common sense. If I stick my neck out so my team can make a play and my teammate just stares blankly in to the sun and I get blasted, that is usually what gets me tilted.
Winning or losing is never my goal unless a mission specifically requires me to win. My 57% win rate is just a happy side effect.
Going into a game, my goal is simply to do as well as I can with my ship and spawn. If I can execute my mission and pull my weight, win or lose, it was a good game. If I fail to do so, win or lose, then it was a bad game (unless of course the aforementioned win mission is the goal). If I not only execute my mission, but truly carry the team to a win, then it was a great game.
The most aggravating game, for me, is actually one in which I'm running full Grade III XP booster sets and play exceedingly poorly but also win the game. Then you've wasted your first win bonus AND a set of boosters, whereas on a loss you can always try again.
A lot of my losing games comes down to both teams playing poorly but my team played worse out of the two of us, and I'll be the first to admit I'll leave the game for a few days. Usually I'll head back to PC, which is simply a better built game. I dont think I can prove it, but everything feels scaled up slightly larger on console compared to PC, which results in my constantly running into landmasses that shouldn't be there. And it gets even more annoying when you get caught on the edge of an island despite your ship being a good five or so feet from it. Legends also feels generally less balanced than PC, probably because ships are all shifted down a tier without having anything taken away from them. This is especially true for T7s, who are all universally T8 ships simply shifted down a tier, while most lower tiered ships received nothing to compensate for it.
Back to back doesn't bother me, I usually look at quitting for the session after losing 3 in a row.
Fortunately I have other games I'm enjoying at the moment.
Dont you feel that is a bit excessive? I mean a whole season. That is a couple weeks, yea wins wont come easy as the players are getting better overall even tho you get most matches that your just shaking your head as a flank of 6 is stuck vs two ships. Were you have to face the same numbers on your end and get called a potato or something dumb like that
But are players getting better? I'd suggest that newer players outnumber those that are getting better. Maybe T7 players are getting better than they were but from the posts I read here, that is questionable.
The post only reflects about 5% in all games played in one day, so no not really. How would it be if both teams were equally good at the game, you will see much more tactical play from both sides to such an extend that everyone has to rush the last 5min of the match to win it, then it becomes a slug fest of who can out angle who. So yea there are good games and bad one, the same can be said for any game out there. Lets take a BR game as an example, can everyone out of the 100 people win? No of course not, but how many die in the start? You see my point right
7 losses in a row kinda gets to me, especially with a 58%wr. My record is 11 straight losses.
I actually question if I need to not die and single handedly win each game.
Its not easy as it was previously as players are getting better at the game, well in some aspect of the game not all in general. Back in the day 30 win streak....easy now not as much as the players are now a days over commit and get def struck in 3 min. Sad but true
Switching ships and changing Tiers can always be a way out of an unfortunate streak, I usually shift down to 4 or 5 (still want to be able to complete campaign objectives win or loss) which tends to be where things are less heated. Trying multiple times at higher Tiers or even trying over with the same ship is just going to leave you deciding which window to throw your controller out of.
If you are doing all of the above then switching tactics is a good plan, test out a new commander build and go the opposite way to where everyone goes to on the reg, use the losses as testing grounds for new commander builds.
I would suggest go against the AI but it kinda feels like playing tennis with the net down and the opponents trousers round their ankles. I really feel no sense of accomplishment with an AI win.
As others have said, if this isn't working then just do something else for a bit, have some dinner or watch a film for an evening.
You forgot one.
Send a kind message to the the MVP on the red team for carrying a good game.
Darn it, thanks but you can only have so many options so you will always miss some
Aye, it's disappointing when you want to make a quip or give congratulations or commiserations to another... But alas, they're on PS, and I'm on XB. Tis was never to work, perpetual sadness.
Or their settings prevent you sending a good message, cos of all the retards sending hate mail.
Yeah... Some times I send of a noter to the other team when I have loss to him/ her in a duel.
