Reminded myself of something: People come here to vacation and we get to live here. That's pretty cool.
I had a picture of the vineyard we went to this weekend but imgur is being a jerk so now this thread is about little reminders about what makes our little neck of the states special. Feel free to share.
Basically, I was hanging with friends, drinking wine made right there (Heringer), enjoying the (delta) breeze, and I had this moment of appreciation for everything despite this past year. My life was completely flipped and somehow I'm still in one piece and surrounded by friendship, good vibes, and great views. People come here to vacation and we get to live here. Isn't that awesome?
Anyway, happy Tuesday. Hope everyone got to shoot their firework load this weekend. No more tho ty
Edit: When I say vacation, I mean the enjoying the region; not necessarily the grid. There is a lot of culture here but, two hours in nearly every direction, there's something to see, do, eat, or drink. This is a great place to make your vacation base camp and return to after a day's adventure. Perhaps, as natives, it is easy to take it for granted.
