Advice for design degree?

Heya, I’m starting an industrial design degree in October (UK based, won’t say what uni because privacy, but it’s ranked high)

Does anyone have any advice? Both design degree and general uni advice? No one in my family has gone before (except one cousin and a sister in law who haven’t been in 15+ years) so anything would be appreciated. Thanks
