vintage jewelry stores?

I'm looking for an engagement ring but have been relatively unsatisfied/unimpressed by the selection from larger places retailing new jewelry around town, so was wondering if anybody had recommendations for places that have a nice vintage selection. A vintage diamond piece is fine but we're also open to other types of gemstones - definitely don't need something super traditional. Thanks!
