Advice: 3rd interview entry-level sales (career change) Flooring
Hi guys, I'm a lurker and I have been invited to do a 3rd interview with a flooring company after deciding to move into sales. In my first in-person interview I focused on the fact that I had a background in bottle sales and memberships for a winery.
They want me to do a mock sale, " We would like you to pick any product and present/sell it to us. For examples: apples, probiotics, hardwood flooring. You can really pick whatever you would like." For my next interview and I'm just nervous.
I was planning on picking wine, any Advice? Or would anyone be willing to critic my sales pitch?
Also, this is the 3rd interview and I still don't know what the base is. This makes me nervous should I email and ask or should I ask when I'm offered a position. I've worked jobs since I was 17 and I'm in my late 20's but this is all new to me and I just need advice. I don't want to work for a minimum even if there is a commission. I would like a base, is that asking too much in entry-level floor sales.
