I finally cut off my narcissistic parents!

Hi guys, I’ve read a lot of your posts over the last year and after a few things came out family wise I decided it was time to cut them off. It’s very difficult to speak to them in person as every time I’ve tried they invalidate everything (that didn’t happen/I wouldn’t do that to you etc) so I’d sent them a letter just detailing some of the things I’ve realised and asked them not to try and contact me. So far they’ve not tried and it’s been about 20 hours since they’ve received it.

But I just wanted to thank the community for helping me rationally come to this decision!
