Solstice armour accelerators?

Anyone know how they work in terms of unlock?

Do they pretty much work passively - as in after you complete the majestic set on your first character it’ll automatically unlock the accelerators and the 2nd character will get x2 progress and once you finish their set up to majestic it’ll give x3 for the 3rd?

There’s nothing specific we need to do other than just complete armor objectives right?
