Connection lag between Air 2 and iPhone X

Just an update on a connection lag I was having. For two months I had been experiencing a connection lag between the drone and my phone. I could fly for maybe 10 minutes, but an increasing cascade of connection lag would make any type of flight without a visual contact impossible. Although all other controller input worked fine, even return to home still worked. I was ready to send it to DJI for an evaluation of what was wrong, but I just kept putting it off as I could get a 10 minute flight without a too big a problem. A few days ago I went ahead and did a battery replacement at an Apple store, the battery and phone are about three years old, but I still had 85% left according to the iPhone diagnostic report. The replacement went fine, but later when I tried the drone there was no lag at all. When I did a little research I found that the iPhone will try to throttle power to apps when the battery is overtaxed to keep the phone from shutting down. I did not notice any other apps having a lag issue, only the DJI app. Just wanted to do a PSA in case anyone else is running into this problem.
