Recent grad looking for advice

Hello I am 25 and just graduated with a BBA in finance. I don’t have any finance references, the only possibility right now is one of my professors from last semester but I don’t even know if it’s worth reaching out to him.

Would it be better to try getting an internship first (I haven’t done any yet) or start looking for actual jobs? There doesn’t seem to be many listings in terms of internships so I wasn’t sure on that.

I also need help with resume writing. Are there people I can pay or talk to to help with that? In the meantime I am just finishing WSP. Are there any other certifications/skills employers like ok resumes?
