Help with cleaning glossy floor tiles
Hi! The rental I just entered has these new very glossy tile floors. I found a couple scratches before I moved my stuff in that appeared to be from metal (were shiny and slightly raised) that I'd like to buff out somehow (and know how to buff out any future blemishes just in case). I tried this bona tile polish with a soft buffing Dremel and it did not work. I then tested bar keeper's friend in a teeny area and it looked like it would remove the scratch but it would also make it dull there. That leads me to think the tile is glazed. I'm not sure if it's porcelain or ceramic though. Any help or tips would be appreciated! This floor is giving me so much anxiety because I feel like I'll lose my security deposit and I'm trying to be so careful as it is.
