How do I deal with a breakup that no one knows about?

For a little more context I'm a 16yo dude living with my helicopter parents. I was dating this girl for a few months and my parents just think we are friends. She broke up with me but still actively wants to be friends with me but I feel like shit. I don't have a very colorful past with mental health so my mother noticed that I wasn't doing well and is now questioning me constantly and I don't know what to do. I feel like I can't tell my mother anything of the situation but I need to say something. What should I do?
