If you’re referring to the Snopes “Fact Check” that labeled this story as “mostly false” then you need to dig more. It’s been established that Snopes isn’t reliable and has a bias.

The campaign of the retired Floridian was duly investigated for illegal activity. The tucker doesn’t appear to be the direct subject of an investigation, but his communications with the campaign could have swept up.
