Haptic came on Thursday but today is the first time I’ve actually gotten to carry it. It’s nice. Small little snappy action. I would rather it be a drop point blade and maybe some sort of finger flick opening method. Having a flipper be so small is kinda awkward to open with my hands. You have to put the butt of the handle right in the palm of your hand.

I love the Haptic's blade shape because it's so utilitarian but I agree with you that it should not be a flipper. Thumbstuds on the Haptic are the way to go.

Oh yeah. I can live with the blade shape even though it’s not my style. But being this small of a flipper just isn’t very enjoyable to open and close. The spine of the blade should stick out more for a hole, thumb studs, or little groove to flick it.

But, I mean it’s a little gripe. Still an amazing knife. Is it worth $800? Maaaaybe. But I had to try one out.

That's why I had to take things into my own hands:
