Spoiler - the next season's Bachelorette host(s)

SpoilerSPOILER

Just saw on Reality Steve's Instagram stories that Taysia and Kaitlyn will be hosting Michelle's season of The Bachelorette when it starts filming later this month. He said he'll have location info on Tuesday.

They did a decent job hosting this season, so I think this is good news!

eh, I think keeping the same lineup starts painting themselves into a box where they have a set host lineup, where changing that looks like a firing, and set hosts will want more and more money. Though this does save them any accusations of racism and favouring Katie over Michelle if their host choice wasn't as popular (and keeps the diversity in the hosting lineup).

I'm "meh" on Tayshia and Kaitlyn as hosts, neither of them come across like "figureheads" which is the only reason for a 'host' outside of the studio shows like ATFR and MTA.

Tayshia and Kaitlyn make good "girl chat" besties for a pre-season advice meeting, but meh. hosts are superfluous.

I get more joy from the hosting performed by "I got a TEXT" than Harrison, Tayshia or Kaitlyn.

Haha I would love to see them all standing at the rose ceremony and someone gets a text - β€œthis is the final Rose tonight πŸŒΉβ€ πŸ˜‚

I think I might be the only one who disagrees with this.

I love them all, don’t get me wrong, and had high hopes for the duo, but throughout this season it almost felt as if they were taking the attention away from Katie :/

Maybe they could have a former bachelor host for bachelorette and a former bachelorette host for bachelor? Or they could make Wells the host for them all and I would enjoy that too. Maybe Wells for bachelorette and Tayshia for the bachelor?!? Just throwing ideas around. πŸ˜…

i find all the criticism of Tayshia and Kaitlyn to be unfair. When they were recording Katie's season production was still battaling with Chris' exit being permanent or not. Tayshia and Kaitlyn constantly referred to themselves as mentors until the season aired and he was fired. I think their roles and their edit would be different if they hadnt been dealing with the huge question mark of chris' return. They deserve an actual chance while being treated like and referred to as hosts DURING filming and editing

I do agree that maybe the edit would be different. My criticism is not actually of their edit. I think they did a great job but I just think they are too good to the point of outshining the bachelorette. Thus why I think maybe they should be on the bachelor instead. Like seriously, how distracting must be for the contestants with 3 talented and gorgeous women in front of them?

if contestants can't focus on Katie (or any lead), who they are romantically interacting with and getting to know, because a couple of pretty girls are around (both of whom are engaged) maybe they aren't right for the lead? Idk I feel like when you are getting to know someone on a real connection level, something that trivial shouldn't be a major distraction! Would you avoid bringing a guy around your friends you because your friends are pretty and potentially a distraction? I just dont see how it matters I'm sorry...

I tend to agree, especially if this were a real life situation - having your attractive and well off married friends around doesn't seem like a bad thing. Nobody worried that Harrison, a very very well off man with a history of dating previous contestants, was too distracting for the women on the bachelor.

the hosts only show up for a few moments, then vanish back to the abyss from whence they came.

Nobody is being distracted by Tayshia or Kaitlyn from their primary quest to find social media fame , and the side-mission to secure a position as lead or a paid trip to mexico.
