What do you mean by god? I tend to believe in sort of a Jungian conception of god, as an element of nature manifested through the self, and I think we can know that this exists evidenced by the existence of religions in every culture-it's the collective dream personified by the ego, but I'm not sure if that qualifies.

Edit: I voted option 2. I almost went with option one because I believe that no god exists, but I cannot say so with absolute certainty. I definitely do not believe that any God I of any religion I am familiar with exists. I believe that I can, with some certainty, say that there is no afterlife.
But say that I 100% know, for sure? Nope. Can't say it!

I thought it might be worth putting up because it seemed as though some people where getting knowledge and belief confused.

There’s more nuance to Gnostics what their religion name means. From what I hear they’re a maltheist religion and some other details about their religion I don’t remember.

Seems that very few can actually say they ‘know’ that God exists. It would imply that person actually experienced meeting up with Him. This issue is largely in the realm of belief only, not firm knowledge.

I would love to hear how all of these people are justifying their claim of knowledge here. If any of them are not dubious I would be very surprised.

I don’t think anyone is right about anything in religion, least if atheism were not true. The way I see it, either atheism is right, or everyone is wrong. I feel that if a god were to exist, it’s morality and consciousness would be way out of our league. That’s just what I think though. Perhaps some gods are based on real people.
