No-Saving/Saveblock method V1 [Improved Repost]

Now, before we begin, this isn't the original post, nor am I the creator of this method/script. I have full permission from the original poster (further in this post, "OP"), to use his script and create a new summarized thread for it.

Dont be scared of the long thread/text. I added a lot of info, so people that arent as tech savvy could maybe understand. Also just added a lot of extra info so people don't have as many questions. I could of easily made this really short, but then there would be a lot of questions in the comments and would have to help a lot of people. Since I answered a bunch of questions already, there should be less comments with questions.

This script is considered as a depreciated method by the OP and since he deleted his old post, so I decided to make a new thread for it since it still works great and people need to know about this, but OP won't be supporting, updating it anymore. This thread is much bigger, has more info than OP's thread, so that's why it's an improved repost and should abide by the subreddit rules.

Disclaimer: As always, I, nor the OP of this script, do not take any responsibility for any bans, resets, warnings, damages, etc, that you get while using this script. The chances of something happening because of this script or you screwing something up are nearly impossible. You 99.9% wont get banned for using this, but there still has to be a disclaimer.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):

> How does this method work?

Well, there are 2 kinds of answers. Short answer - it uses your PC's Windows Firewall to block your PC from accessing R*'s servers and preventing them to save your game progress to their servers. The more technical answer - the AHK script creates a Windows Firewall rule, which blocks R*'s servers IP.

> How safe is this method, am I going to get banned?

Well, there is always some kind of risk involved when using these methods/glitches/exploits, unless it's really major and it really makes a big spike in your GTA Online bank account, you should be fine. Unless you earn like 3m+ in 1 minute or something with another glitch, you don't have a risk of getting banned. In fact, doing most things in GTA Online won't get you banned straight away, but reset or warned or just the money reset first.

With that being said about this method, it doesn't directly interfere with the game's files in any way, so it would be really hard for R* to detect it in that way. But people have used the regular replay method and I haven't really heard of cases of people getting banned or reset. I myself have been doing this for a while and I haven't had a problem.

With that being said - the risk is there of course just like all the other methods, but it's super super unlikely.

> How do I know that the script is not malicious and safe for my PC?

You can check the script's source code by simply downloading the file and right-clicking on it, then click "Edit Script" or "Open with Notepad". Here are the virustotal scan results for this file. AHK scripts cannot launch or do anything by themselves if you just download the file, unlike other file types or malware, so if you want to download and check the file, you can safely do so.

> Why is there an IP address in that script? Are you hacking me?

No, that is the IP address to one of the R*'s servers. Heres the IP lookup scan results, as you can see the server is owned by Take-Two Interactive. That is the main part of this script.

> Does this work for all heists?

Technically, it should work for all heists, although I haven't tested all of them yet. I have done the DCH heist probably around or over 50 times and the cayo heist like 30 times, always have been paid out and kept the heist.

PSA: there is a new cayo payout limit, you cannot replay cayo as much as you want, as you wont receive money if you go over the limit. Check this thread for info.

> Will this work on console?

No, this exact script is PC (Windows) only, as it requires a piece of software called AutoHotKey (AHK), which isn't available on other platforms. Although there are different other methods and ways to do this on consoles as well, like using your phone as a hotspot and an app, like "Netlimiter", then blocking the same IP for your console. I won't be covering any of that in this thread though. Also you cannot get paid as a host on console at least for now.

> What's so special about this method, why can't I just disconnect my internet and replay the heist the normal way?

Well, it's pretty simple. Usually, whenever you replay heists, you have to disconnect your internet at a certain moment and if you miss it or there's some unwanted lag/latency, you have a high chance of not getting paid or losing your target/preps. Sometimes even if you time it correctly, as I already mentioned, it could lag at that moment or latency could hop in.

Now, with this method you do NOT require any timing at all, even if it lags or there's extra latency, you are guaranteed to get your money and keep the heist, giving that you do it right.

> What else can I do with this script?

This script can actually be used for some other things, not just replaying heists. For example, bypassing DSL (Daily Sell Limit), replaying time trials, using items like ammo, snacks, and such which won't subtract while the script is turned on, probably replaying CMM (haven't tested that yet 100%), etc.

So it's pretty useful for other things too, not just replaying heists, which is the main use of it though.

> Is this going to work for exactly my PC?

This should work for your PC as well, but there are a few things that can prevent the script from working properly, like custom firewalls, 3rd party antivirus software, different software installations or settings, router settings, etc.

You can try to follow the troubleshooting section to make sure that all the settings are correct to maximize the chances of this working.

The V2 of this method is being worked on by OP and should work for almost all systems since it uses a more reliable method. More on that in OPs future post.

>Will I get RP and elite challenge money by using this?

You should get the elite challenge money automatically right in your bank account, not hand, but unfortunately you won't get RP by using this, but thats only a small con.

Setting up AHK and the script:

1. Download AHK (AutoHotKey) and install it. While installing, choose "Express Installation". Then simply click "Exit".
2. Download the script here. By clicking the link, the download will start automatically. Again, here's the virustotal scan results. (Important: make sure to place the script in your games installation folder after it finishes downloading!! If you don't do this, the script won't work.) (Check the end of the thread for the link to the updated script)
3. Double left-click on the script, it is going to ask you for administrative privileges, enter your password or click "Yes"
4. Another window will pop up, simply click on "Yes". Obviously, there isn't a script already running, but AHK just asks for that.
5. The script now should be started and should be in your system tray, where you can right-click on it and further do several actions if needed, like exit the script.

Testing the script to see if it's working as intended:

Much quicker testing method than below:

1. Follow all of the steps until step 4 from down below.
2. Once you have activated the no saving mode with (left)CTRL+F9, simply click ALT+F4 (this might not work if you have a tool, like SUPER alt+f4 for force quitting your game, make sure to disable those if you have any), which should immediately bring up a screen that should say "Save failed. Are you sure you want to quit now?", which means that the script works.
3. Then simple just click "Esc" or 'No" and turn off the no saving mode by clicking (left)CTRL+F12, then just try clicking ALT+F4 to see if its fine, it should say "Are you sure you want to quit Grand Theft Auto V? All unsaved progress will be lost", which means you turned if off.

Heres a short video demonstration.

Longer/alternative testing method (I still recommend using the above one, much quicker and does the same):

1. To start the script, follow the steps of the last section.
2. Of course, load into online, doesn't matter what lobby or place.
3. Now, when you're into online, the quickest way to test if the script is working as intended is to force an outfit save right after enabling the no saving mode. The hotkeys I have chosen to activate no saving mode is (left**)CTRL+F9** and to disable it **(left)**CTRL+F12. Yes, the hotkeys are changable, that will be covered later on.
4. Once you have activated no saving mode, if you are on "Windowed borderless", then you should see a little pop up on the top left of your screen, saying "NO SAVING MODE ON". If you are on "Fullscreen", then you won't be able to see it, but you should be able to see it if you minimize/alt-tab the game.
5. Now, simply go to your interaction menu, by clicking "M" and go to "Style", then "Outfit" and simply change your outfit to a different one.
6. Once you've changed the outfit, start sprinting forwards or jump, you should be seeing a little pop up in the bottom left corner above the minimap, saying "SAVING FAILED", following by another popup saying "Saving failed - unable to connect to the Rockstar game services.". If this happens to you also, that means, that the script is working as intended and will work while replaying heists.
7. Then simply disable the no saving mode, by pressing **(left)**CTRL+F12. You should see a little pop up in the top left of your screen, saying "NO SAVING MODE OFF". Next, wait around 10-20 seconds, and then change your outfit to something else once again. Then sprint or jump again. There should be a pop-up above your minimap again, saying "SAVE SUCCESSFUL". If you don't see it immediately, then just wait a few more seconds, change outfit again and jump/sprint again.

Now, if this did not work, then you'll have to follow some steps in the troubleshooting section to hopefully fix and make it work.

How to use the script to replay heists:

1. Make sure you have launched the script, you could do it during the heist but jut make sure to launch if before to be safe in case you forget.
2. Make sure you got a method of disconnecting your internet, for example, pulling your ethernet cable, using your adapter settings to turn off your ethernet adapter, using another AHK script to disconnect the internet with just a press of the button, turning on airplane mode, etc. If you know which method and how you will disconnect your internet, you can go to the next step.
3. Now just simply play the heist like you normally do. Of course make sure you have tested the script before you start your heist. You don't have to test it every single time you start a heist, if it works one time it should work just fine in the future. If you don't want to risk your expensive loot, you can test it on another heist if you want to be safe, but if you did the testing steps above, it should work for the heist just fine.
4. Whenever you reach the end of the heist, make sure you activate the no saving mode with (left)CTRL+F9 at least 10-20 seconds before making it to the heist ending.
5. Now simply finish the heist. Once you get to the heist summary screen, after a few seconds, you should see the notification on the left side that says "Saving failed", if you see no spinning circle in the bottom, you should be able to disconnect your internet. I usually wait like 4-8 seconds after the message pops up just to be safe before I disconnect the internet. You can disconnect the internet right after the no saving mode though, should work just fine, I just take a small precaution.
6. Once you disconnect your internet, after a few seconds you should get a prompt saying "The Rockstar game services are unavailable right now. Please return to GTA V". Then return to story mode.
7. After the "Quitting session", the circle stops spinning and you start zooming into story mode. When you get into story mode and there are no spinning circles, you are free to reconnect your internet AND disable no saving mode by pressing (left)CTRL+F12 while you're still in story mode.
8. Now after you've done the steps above, reconnect to social club, by clicking the "Home" or whichever button you use to open the social club popup and click "retry connection" until you connect back to social club.
9. After you've connected back to social club, go to the online tab in the menu and connect to an invite only session, since its the quickest.
10. After you connect back to online, you should see the heist completed summary screen and should have the money on hand and the heist target should still be there.

Troubleshooting/issues:

1. 3rd party antivirus software - if you have any antivirus software installed, like Avast, Malwarebytes, Kaspersky, etc, there's a high chance, that they would come with an extra firewall enabled. These extra firewalls could interfere with the script and the default windows firewall and would make the script not work. So I'd recommend completely disabling these or even uninstalling the software completely.
2. Script not in game folder - during my testing I found out, that the script has to be in the game installation folder in order for it to work. So make sure to place it in the folder, where your games files are located. (Check the new update at the end of the thread, new update doesnt require this.)
3. Cannot see the "NO SAVING MODE ON" popup, but script is on - make sure you try to activate/use it in Windowed borderless mode instead. If you still prefer fullscreen, you can activate the script and then ALT+TAB to a different tab, then you should be able to see the popup, just not in game. Just try switching different screen modes and see if it works.
4. Windows firewall is off - make sure that the windows firewall is ON, since that's what the script uses to do this method and it requires the firewall.
5. Script launched before the game - make sure to launch the game before the script. So every single time you have to close the game, you have to reopen the script aswell. (Check the new update at the end of the thread, new update doesnt require this.)
6. I want to change the hotkeys to different buttons - you can simply google "ahk hotkeys list" and there should be some documentation on how to properly name them. To change the hotkeys to a different one, simply right click on the file or right click on the "H" icon in your system tray and click "Edit script". Then you'd have to change these 2 hotkeys to your chosen ones (keep the 2 colons). You can tell me in the comments which hotkey you want to change it to and I can help and tell you what to change it to.

Providing an AHK script for cutting your internet connection - u/CRlME - I'm sure someone else has made this before and such, but I came upon this guys post about the script first and I used most of his script to get it to work for my PC (I added a few more things in it from other internet sources).

As I already mentioned, there is a chance that there is a weirder/deeper/different issue, that I don't know of and that would either be impossible to fix/hard to find and fix, that's the only con for this script. The V2 should eliminate these issues, as it uses a more universal method of doing this, so it should work on almost any PC rather than this, which can not work for all.

With that being said, please do not beg, message, harrass, spam the OP for the V2, he's working on finishing it and releasing it as fast as possible, so please be patient and use this method while waiting for the new version.

Of course, if anyone has any tips on what I could add to this thread, any troubleshooting findings, new discoveries, problems or questions, make sure to definitely shoot a comment, I'll be trying to read all of them.

Updates/changes:

[V1.1] 15/06/2021: Script has been changed a tiny bit so it is easier to set up and use. Script no longer needs to be in the game folder in order for it to work.
