STAY OUT of The Abandoned House in The Woods (Part 2 series notes)
Welcome to r/jgcreepypastas please join the subreddit if you enjoyed this series!
The second part of this series was meant to be the conclusion, however I really enjoyed this tale and might pick it up at some point in the future. Even if it doesn't get a ton of upvotes I'm really happy with this story overall. I hope it evoked memories of childhood days playing in the woods and exploring haunted places for some of you like it did for me.
I always feel compelled to mention my inspiration for stories so I'll do that briefly here:
If you've never heard of him please check out the Canadian horror author Nick Cutter who wrote two of the most terrifying books I've ever read: "The Troop" and "The Deep" - the latter of which was partly the inspiration for the giant millipede creatures in this story. I had a similar creature in a very early story of mine as well, titled "Mr. Gleam, Mr. Gleam" about a cleaning service with a terrifying secret. Some of you may also have noticed the town in this series, "Hollow's End" from some of my other stories such as my cable guy series which is also a personal favorite of mine.
Giant millipede creatures are a really terrifying concept to me and so I found this one pretty disturbing on rereads, and tried to make it an extra scary one. Hopefully I managed to do that.

If you enjoy my writing and would like to show your support by purchasing one of my books, I greatly appreciate it! I have a novel titled Beneath the Asylum out now published by Manor House. Also I just released a horror short story collection which is available now on Amazon. Here's the link
Both are available free with Kindle unlimited.
Thanks everyone for reading!
