[Routine Help] Developing a routine after being off skincare products for a year

Routine Help

Hi all, I was using skincare products about 1.5-2 years ago pretty consistently, but gradually fell off. I’m interested in getting my routine back, but I’m not looking to follow my old routine. I’m looking for suggestions or concerns if I may be misusing any products. I want to keep my routine fairly simple. Here are my current routines:

AM: Micellar water wash, Lactic Acid 10% + HA, Natural moisturizing factors + HA

PM: Micellar water wash, Vitamin C 23% + HA 2%

I also have the following products:

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - I’ve noticed the lactic acid drys out my skin more than it had before and the natural moisturizing factors aren’t hydrating enough to my liking. Should I consider adding this in my AM or do you all have another suggestion?

Retinol 0.5% in Squalane - I would like to figure out how to integrate this in my routine in particular.

AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution - I would also like to start using this after my skin gets adjusted to the chemical exfoliation from the lactic acid. Any suggestions as far as use? Or is there any benefit to using a milder exfoliator more frequently than something like this product every week or two?

About my skin:

General: Normal/combination, rarely dry - every once in a while mildly oily T zone, wear makeup 2-3/week, no history of acne

Skin concerns: Mild redness on nose and chin, hyperpigmentation on chin (post-inflammatory, freckle-looking pigmentation left from past pimples), large pores on nose
