Need help finding a OPM rule for vets time credit
I am trying to find this to help my vet buddy out. I got this but i cannot remember the OPM rules for it.
As a disabled veteran of 30% or more with the disability being due to war time injury, you can convert your time served into federal time in service (when you get a fed job), without having to buyback.
Anyone know the rule or have a link?
Thank you :)
Edit: Not the buyback program.
Edit: I have this already, my service comp date has an extra 7 years served on it from my service in the army. no buy-in needed. I meet all requirements in the below edit
Edit: Part of it is,
Title 5 Section 6303

armed conflict; or
(ii) caused by an instrumentality of war
and incurred in line of duty during a period
of war as defined by sections 101 and 1101 of
title 38;
(B) that service was performed in the armed

authorized; or

a position to which this subchapter applies
